Research

PHC encourages evidence-informed practice and clinician engagement in research. The Professional Practice Office coordinates a research capacity-building program, the Practice-based Research Challenge, to support teams of point-of-care clinicians to conduct small-scale research projects with support from a mentor. Additionally, the PPO co-funds the annual Innovation and Translational Research Award, and a Community of Practice for Knowledge Translation, to support the movement of evidence into practice.
